Our Commitment

We want everyone to be able to browse and buy from byzroyal.com, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

What We've Done

• Text alternatives for product images, and descriptive labels on icon buttons (bag, wishlist, menu, quantity controls).
• Keyboard access to navigation links, product pages, the bag and checkout.
• Respect for your device's "reduce motion" setting, which turns off decorative animation such as the scrolling banners.
• Text sized to avoid zooming problems on phones, and layouts that adapt to screen size and browser zoom.
• A checkout hosted by Shopify, which maintains its own accessibility program.

Known Limitations

Some product videos play automatically without a pause button, the quick-shop panel in the desktop menu opens on mouse hover only (every category it links to is also reachable by keyboard), and many product photos are described only by the product's name. We're working through these and review the site regularly.
